The tech met with the customer, who informed the tech that the water heater was from 2011, making it 13+ years old.

The customer also informed the tech that it had never been flushed or maintained.

After going over all options the customer ultimately decided to replace the unit as it was over 10 years old and would instead replace the water heater than try and fix it.

The technician disconnected, removed, and hauled the old unit in preparation for the new installation.

After the installation, the plumber checked for leaks and functionality before departing the job.
