Sewer Line Repair in Stockton, CA
A failing sewer line doesn’t announce itself clearly. It shows up as slow drains throughout the house, foul odors in the yard, a patch of unusually green grass near where the lateral runs, or sewage backing up through floor drains. By the time those signs appear, the problem has usually been developing for months. Knights Plumbing & Drain provides expert sewer line diagnosis and repair for Stockton homeowners. We start with a camera inspection so you know exactly what you’re dealing with before a single dollar is spent on repair.

Sewer Line Problems Common in Stockton
Stockton’s age means many residential sewer laterals were installed in the 1950s and 60s using clay or Orangeburg pipe materials that can’t last a century. These lines are susceptible to:
- Root intrusion: Stockton's tree canopy is one of the largest in California; roots exploit every joint and hairline crack
- Collapsed pipe sections in clay laterals carrying root loads for decades
- Corrosion in cast iron pipes, scale buildup, and eventual failures in older metal lines
How We Diagnose and Repair Sewers
- We start with a video camera inspection to we see exactly what’s wrong and where
- You then get an honest assessment of what we found, the repair options, and what each costs before any work begins
- After you approve the pricing, we proceed with a targeted repair or full line replacement, depending on what the camera shows
- After the service, we conduct a post-repair verification where we pass a camera to confirm the repair is complete
